IER stocks a wide variety of Enclosed Disconnect Switches.
Disconnect switches are used to establish that electrical circuits are completely de-energized for service or maintenance and are used primarily in industrial applications where machinery must have the power source removed for adjustment or repair.
General Duty Disconnect Switches…
General Duty Switches are intended for applications where reliable performance and continuity of service are needed, but where duty requirements are not severe and usual service conditions prevail. These switches are intended for use primarily with supply circuits rated 240V AC or less where the available fault current is less than 100,000A when used with Class R or T fuses or 10,000A max. when used with Class H fuses.
Heavy duty Disconnect Switches…
Heavy duty switches are available in 30-1200A ratings and in Type 1, 3R, 12 and 4X enclosures. Both fusible and non-fusible versions are offered. They can be used on circuits that are rated through 200K when protected by or used with Class R or J fuses. They feature quick make and break operation and visible blade construction. They offer a wide range of accessories including 200% neutrals and isolated ground kits which are not available with competitive products.
